If your reading this after sending me an email, let me explain BoxTrapper and what it does to help me manage my inbox

I am dyslexic and in this recent, NOW NOW NOW culture, have been forced to require some help managing my inbox

My mailbox is protected by SpamExperts and SpamAssassin, but it isn’t protecting me regarding emails that have been sent in error and aren’t for me

You should have received a verification message along with a code, before you reply to it or click on the link, please make sure:

I am the person you have sent an email to?

Are you guessing an email address?

Are you sending an email to an address where the person wrote their email in really untidy handwriting so you can’t be sure what they wrote?

Please contact the person and make sure you have their correct email address

BoxTrapper

While you’re looking here to figure out what to do about that email. Please also remember that BoxTrapper also gives me the option to ignore or blacklist future emails, so please only verify your email responsibly

Over the years, I’ve received umpteen emails in French (I can’t speak French), car insurance quotes (I can’t drive) and various other email which people have entered an email address I own, rather then theirs

I’ve also received a database of voters (name, address, emails) in a certain country and medical records

Please ensure you have the right email address

If your signing up for something, create a hotmail/outlook/gmail/yahoo address for any emails you really don’t want to receive

Thanks
